There are MANY great restaurants in Luxembourg. Too many to go into them in any detail. Some or my favorites are Chez Bicano and Hostellerie du Château (Senningen) as well as the Thialand (Bellair) & Thai Céladon (grund). Try the Shrimp at Chez Bicano
Generally the restaurants in the Place d'armes are all very good and reange from moderate to very expensive. My favorite those is an oddly named restaurant ... Lonely Hearts, which is an Italian restaurant. very small and therefore intimate dining. There are tables outside on the street during summer. the Prusciutto and Melon as a starter and the Carbonara were excellent as was the entire dessert menu. Portions are very large
'Le table du pain' - such an excellent place!!! There are 2 restourants in Luxembourg. I have visited the similar restourant in Brussels and I have heard that there are some in New York. Please, rich people, invest some money and build one in Sofia - you will make me happy forever ;o)

The little sidewalk cafe right across fromthe Park in down town Luxembourg. I have forgotten it's name but you can not miss it if you walk through this beautiful park and look up toward the flags. Their Wonderful Coffee.
The best restaurants are for example: 'La Farfalla' (Luxembuorg-City) (only for lunch) or 'La Rusticana' in Luxembourg-Howald. Italian restaurant across from the hotel Carlton.It was the first and best dish of Escargot I ever had, the pizza was pretty good also. ESCARGOT!
