Found since 1855
it is now the second most beautiful monument in Luxembourg, gorgeous park around and near the continue of the biggest park of the city, supposed to be the historical residence of an American General!
Nowadays it is a residence for old persons,
Um I mean very rich ole persons :-p

Aquarium in Wasserbillig is a suggested place in many guides and there are directions pointing to it as if it was a really big, significant place. However, I don't know should this be a tourist trap or things to do tip. Certainly it is a very nice place to see, fish are lovely and it's surely interesting, but it's too small, the size of a decent living room of an average flat, and with just a few fish tanks, not bigger than a meter or so. The fish inside are nothing exceptional either, I mean, they're quite usual aquarium fish... If your stay in Luxembourg is short, I suggest you to skip this activity!
Admission details:

Open from Easter to September
30 from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m..Closed on
Monday.From October 1 to Easter from
1.30 to 5 p.m.,on weekends and holidays
from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m..Closed on Monday
and Tuesday.Admission fees:adults 2 EUR

and I thought it is too high, but it is better to be kept away from stealing in this way!

it is as great as from the inside and outside!
a very special thing of this wonderful monument is the bells, they ring every 15 minutes in very special melodic way, and each time differently, a pure pleasure to hear!

and you feel the wealthy of the country when you see the luxury cars on the streets,
though it is one of the smallest countries in our planet, it still one of the richest!

The biggest impression leaves Adolf's bridge. During its construction in 1900-1903 it was one of the greatest stone bridges in Europe. The central arch has height of 46 meters, its flight makes 84 meters. Petrussa river flows below.

The oldest holy building in the city. The first chapel was built here in 987. Todays building dates from 1688 and was restored in the sixries and the eighties of the twentieth century. It combines elements of Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque architecture.

A town at the very border with Germany, accessible by train from Luxembourg city (it's on the railway to Trier). The station is right on the river Moselle! There is a long, extremely beautiful promenade along the river. An opposite bank is Germany already and there is a ferry service, as well as one bridge connecting two countries. There are lots of swans and ducks and very lush green areas. Fishermen's paradise. It's also a commercial center. Near the bridge there is a mosaic panel showing the Grand-Duchy with its districts and rivers. There are also walking paths through the woods, the vineyards along the river. There is beginning of the walking trails of the Lower-Sûre and the Moselle. And the inevitable aquarium!
