I went to Luxenbiurg by train. I took the train in Brussels Noord to Luik (Liège). There I took another train to Luxembourg city. I stopped in Troisvièrges and travelled by foot to Wiltz.I travelled in Luxembourg by foot. The big roads aren't 'configured' for walkers, but with some caution, it goes easy. And you can a 100% enjoying the nature. By car is of course easier, and the trains are on time, cheap and you get a every city, sometimes little villages.

Luxembourg City is connected by train to Belguim, France and Germany.
A train from Brussels is 31 euro and takes 3 hours.you dont go through any passport control.
Best trasnsportation I think is by car, otherwise is too easy to get lost. :)
When visiting Luxembourg go by car. Luxembourg is very hilly and has all these surprising roads that lead you to all different villages. Really beautiful scenery you pass on every road you take!
Besides trains, airplance is another way to arrive Luxembourg.
Maybe I was just fortunate, but the cab drivers in Luxembourg City were very friendly, even at 1am, and were very patient as I tried out my rusty French on them!
