If you're in Attard for a visit and feel like a snack or something sweet and a good cup of coffee, stop by at the Santa Lucia Cafeteria - you won't be disappointed! It's always been one of my favourite coffee shops. I enjoy stopping there for a short break. Their food is always top quality. Inside the Santa Lucia it is rather small, but nice, there is also an outdoor area for sitting outside when the weather is suitable.

Mon - Fri 09:00 - 15:00 and 16:30 - 20:00
Sat 09:00 - 15:00 and 16:30 - 21:00

Favorite Dish: I enjoy the Santa Lucia's traditional sweets and pastries. I love their vanilla and chocolate muffins which are huge and tasty! Their plain and hazelnut filled white, milk and dark chocolates are also a favourite of mine. Then there is a selection of sandwiches, pies, traditional pastizzi etc. which are always lovely and fresh. I also order birthday cakes and buy Christmas and Easter gifts from the Santa Lucia.

This place has a very good positive things about it. The ambiance, food and seating availibility as the place is big. Situated around San Anton Gardens and I guess it was an extension of the gardens. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is special as it is in a very nicely decorated and well kept garden with umbrellas and nice garden decor. This place is nice even to hold a small wedding ! There is also a wombat in a cage here - kids loving going to this place. I love going as it is filled with cats and I adore them !
Service is a bit slow but if you tell them that time is limited they corporate quite well unlike other places.
Favorite Dish: Chicken wrap. pasta dishes and the cakes are amazing !

This a really nice family spot. A this coffee shop one may taste the most amazing cakes, chocolates and pies that one can ever imagine. Infact all around Malta this place is well known ! I think they have the best gateaus and apple pies I ever tasted !
They serve also ice creams, juices and coffees. Very popular and since it is small you hardly ever find place to sit down so be careful ! There are also chiars outside for smokers !

Apart from the tables and chairs, I do like the interior of Saracino's coffee shop which has lots of character. During the warm summer months, they offer outdoor seating which is very pleasant. It is mostly frequented by the locals and being situated exactly next door to Attard's parish church, it probably gets very busy just before and after the mass service on Sundays. I've been there a few times in the evening and it's been nice and quiet. The food has always been good and the staff are always helpful and friendly.
The cafe is usually open everyday, including Sunday, from 9am to 10pm; during the summer it closes in the afternoon for a few hours.
Favorite Dish: Apart from the wide choice of pizza, pasta, pastries and meat dishes, Saracino's also has special menus (e.g. gluten-free). I enjoy the pizzas, wraps and desserts of course :-)
