For a bit of quiet and shade try the Palace and especially the Gardens.Now the Presidents Palace,it was built around 1620 by Grand Master Antoine de Paule.
The garden extends towards Lija at the back and sides of the Palace.
We used to picnic here and enjoy the peacefulness.
The Queen of England stayed at the Palace during her visit in 2005.

At the centre of the village the club is the centre of most things,so anything you would like to find out,it's surely here.Myself and my friend spent most evenings here enjoying their hospitality.
For upcoming festivals and attactions to see here,the site is great.
