The small chapel located on Comino is dedicated to the Return of Our Lady from Egypt and it is opened for weekend services only.
Located near the police station and the campsite, the chapel was first built in 1618 but has been restored many times since then.

St Mary's Tower, built by the Grand Master Alof de Wignacourt in the 17C, can be also seen from the ferry crossing from Malta to Gozo.
The tower is located on the south-east side of the island, looking towards the ferry port at Cirkewwa.
A good destination for tourists walking around Comino, the tower became more famous when in 2002 it was used to represent the prison Chateau d'If in the movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" starring Jim Caviezel.

Located near the Blue Lagoon, San Niklaw Bay is the access point for Comino Hotels ferry and the single hotel located here offers also a small sandy beach for its clients.
This is also a good starting point for a pleasant walk around the edge of the island's cliffs.

Santa Marija Bay is considered the second best place for picnics and swimming on Comino Island, after the Blue Lagoon.
The Bay offers a good public beach and perfect waters for snorkeling and scuba diving. Comino Bungalows are also located here.

After an agitated boat ride to Comino, Santa Marija Cave seemed to us a real corner of heaven.
And, if you consider the beauty of the serene cave's cyan waters and dramatic cliffs, it really is.
Perfect spot for snorkeling and scuba diving, Santa Marija Cave can be also reached through a tunnel coming from St Marija Bay

From the ferry crossing the channel between Malta and Gozo, you wouldn't imagine how beautiful Comino island is.
The tiny Comino with its natural caves and cliffs, a protected nature reserve, is today a paradise for all those who love swimming, snorkeling, diving or just hiking.

Probably the best way to see Comino's cliffs is by taking a boat trip around the island.
The most impressive and tall ones are located on the eastern part of the island and, as we came by boat from St Paul's Bay, we had the chance to pass close to these cliffs.

Its absolute fantastic!, the water is so blue, magnificient views! There is a small beach with sand, but its ofcourse overcrowded, you can also hire a sunchair at the pier, but I can tell you: you will never regret that you visited this tiny little Island. A swim in the Blue Lagoon is a must do thing!
