The sand here got VERY hot. We walked from our position to the cafe but found that we actually had to start and run, beacuse the sand was unbearably hot. We just about made it. Coming back was worse, cos we had our fruit salads so we couldn't run. Susan ended up burning her dainty and delicate little feet, and they were painful for a day or so afterwards.

Be careful, the sand is really getting hot here around midday. There are two choices you have:
1. Run!
2. Wear shoes!
