Visit the place Xara - not far from it, in Ggantija, the Mnaidra Temples are situated. They are intered into the Guinness record book. They are considered to be the first constructions of religion on the Earth. They are 5500 years - older than the Egyptian pyramids.
Fondest memory: On Gozo there are plenty of hills with so-called 'cut away' summits. There is a version that those summits served as take-off and landing strips for aliens.
Favorite thing: Visit the museum of history of the island 'Heritage of Malta'. Moving from one hall to another you'll be involved in a sort of performance. The manner of presentation of historic events is really unusual.
Near Victoria there is an old stone-temple area to walk around, ane being guided buy English-speakers...
If it´s not too hot, look at this very very old part of history!
Fondest memory: Well built You can see everything except of the roof!
Drive by any boat to COMINO! The smallest of the 3 maltesian islands is in the middle of bluegreen water, nice rocks and large beaches and coast for cliff-jumping, swimming, snorkling (attention! no beginners into the high waves!) and having fun on some 100 meters...
Fondest memory: Do there what You ever wanted to do on a little island like that!
1.) Buy a Map
2.) Every way goes through Victoria (main city)
3.) Rent a motor-cycle (not bigger than 50 or 80 ccm!)
4.) Visit the beach (i.e. intro-picture, west-coasts)
5.) Visit Xlendi Beach (lots of Cafés, Restaurants, Dive-Centres)
6.) Eat on the way before Xlendi at the mountain above at one of the good Italian family-flair restaurants with view of the moon, the stars, and the very large rock-wall on the other side °
7.) MUST: Visit the clubs 100 ft. under the italiana restaurants: So the same panorama and: outside Dancing!
Fondest memory: The beach You see is at Xlendi, You can climb the rock at the right side by normal footway, and the sight is really big! One beach further to the right side (You have to drive from Victoria another 'road') You see the stone-gates, one of them under water and one above...Really imposant nature, so divers make there night-dives in the caves out to the open sea...
Favorite thing: Marsalforn Bay like Xlendi is another great spot to stop for a swim or a bite to eat. On the opposite side to Xlendi of Gozo.
Favorite thing: Scattered around Gozo in or near most communities are small local washpoints. Still used today in some situations.
Favorite thing: Comino is the small island between Gozo and malta. The only permanent residence are those working at the small hotel.
Favorite thing: Arriving on Gozo most people will cath one of the regular ferrys from malta and arrive at Mgarr Harbour.

This huge rock archway was created by the erosion of the waves.
It doesn't seem very high, but it is.
The Azure Window lies 5 km. west of Victoria.
Favorite thing: The citadel in Victoria is surrounded by impressive high walls. Inside these walls there are the remains of old buldings and museums.
Favorite thing: By the Citadel, or 'Gran Costello' u can enjoy a view of just about everywhere on this 10 by five-mile island.
Fondest memory: Western of the island, the sea and the rocks play games. Some creativity games, which give pleasure to our eyes. And to the scuba divers too.
If you are a church lover this country Malta will be your favourite one! Enjoy it! Don't be afraid!
