A little way along the coast (to the east) from Ramla Bay is San Blas Bay. This is of the same type of sand but is much smaller and much harder to get to. You can drive to the top of a track at the edge of the hillside and then you have to walk down the very precipitous path to the bay itself. It's hard going, as it is VERY steep and the concrete of the path dusted with sand is very slippery. It's worth the effort though, and the climb back up is nowhere near as difficult.
Here's the bay at San Blas. Look at the sand and the sea, it's absolouely gorgeous - and only a handful of people here. There's no facilities at all, and the town is a good way back up the road at the top of the hill, so if you come here come prepared and bring food & drink with you.
