This Turkish Restaurant is situated just on Gzira Seafront. They serve good and genuine food for eat in and take out. They have a couple of tables on the front with wonderful views of Manoel Island and have recently refurbished the seatings area inside.
If in a hurry and looking for some nice chicken, beef or lamb with turkish salads this is a good place to visit and by the number of people queing all the time one can tell its good food.
Favorite Dish: My favourite dish here is Chicken Shish with couscous.

Bookbites is a bookshop with a nice cafe attached (hence the name Book-Bites see). Both are very good, the bookshop having a good selection of English language newspapers, magazines and books and especially a nice section of local-interest books that I couldn't see on Amazon and are probably not easy to get hold of outside of Malta itself.
The cafe is really nice too, and does basic food (toasted sandwiches, baguettes and pastizzi) and lovely cakes. It also does a lovely range of "special coffeees", which are a cross between coffee and a cocktail!
Favorite Dish: The speciality coffees and the cakes. All that we tried were delicious!
