Bookbites is a bookshop with a nice cafe attached (hence the name Book-Bites see). Both are very good, and we visited the cafe a couple of times for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
What to buy: There is a good selection of English language newspapers, magazines and books and especially a nice section of local-interest books that I couldn't see on Amazon and are probably not easy to get hold of outside of Malta itself.
