by alusru If you lived somewhere with large, verdant, spacious gardens, you might understand the smile on my face and my feelings when I saw that front garden in Valletta. Plants need a lot of water to grow but Malta has little. Ground in Valetta is rare. However, you can always find enough inspiration to make your imaginations come true. To be so creative with so little, I adore. Leave a Comment

by alusru Going up the hill for Mdina there are trees on both sides of the street. One of these trees is very special. If you look close it turns into a crucifix. The tree is on the right side when you travel up the hill and it is after about 3 quaters of the way up. Leave a Comment

by reenby To get to the cliffs you have to catch a bus to Rabat, then follow a 2km pathway through lovely Buskett Gardens to reach Dingli cliffs - the highest point on the island. Walk along the cliff so high above the sea and feel the wind as it sweeps over. The cliffs are probaby caused by Africa scrunching up to Europe. It has been suggested that this is where Atlantis dropped off into the sea - and who knows. There are no cafes etc so take your own eats. When you have had enough of the solitude and views walk back down the little hill to the town and catch the bus at the church. Leave a Comment
