We didn't feel very hungry on our first night on Gozo, plus we'd been ill a couple of days previously and still weren't fully up to proper meals. We ordered a "sandwich" each and a cake on room service. This is what we got, a sandwich so big we both left at least half of it! (Still managed the cake though). The price was incredibly reasonable, just a couple of UK pounds for what you see here, incuding room service charge. I've payed over 4 pounds for two triangles of curled up cheese sandwiches in UK hotels before.

A small local coffee shop & restaurant just in front of the church. Well, not really a place to spend your time but was a good place to buy a cold drink on a hot afternoon.
