A lot of people in Paceville during the night (mainly teenagers), several pubs and discos, all kind of music.My personal suggestion is the Havana Club.Hip Hop music, great dancers, good cocktails (but small glasses) and friendly atmosphere.You won't feel alone there!
Everyone seemed to be out walking after dinner. I love promenade time ... and there are places to sit out by the beach - from simple pizza to fancy restaurants. Set some time for your group to watch and walk, wherever you decide to eat. You Americans who love your dinner at 6:00 sharp - that's too early here, so take a nap and have a snack & live a little, stay up a bit later!
I HAVE BEEN COMING TO MALTA FOR THREE YEARS AND WHAT IM ALWAYS ENJOYING IS THE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE CHAMPAGNE BAR AT TRIC IL-HARIFA JUST OF THE PROMENADE.THEY HAVE CABARET NIGHTS ON WEDNESDAY,FRIDAY AND SUNDAY WITH THE FEMALE IMPERSONATOR RUSTY PETRA. THE SHOWS ARE ALWAYS DIFFERENT AND YOU CAN ALSO TAKE YOUR CHILDREN. AFTER THE SHOW THERE IS KARAOKE WITH THE LANDLORD ADAM TILL EARLY HOURS IN THE MORNING.I HAVE BEEN A REGULAR CUSTOMER SINCE I CAME TO MALTA. THEY ALSO DO MALTESE FOOD WHICH IS ECXELLENT AND NOT DEAR AT ALL. THIS IS SOMETHING YOU REALLY SHOULDNT MISS.AND IF YOU NOT ABLE TO FIND IT OR HAVE PROBLEMS WALKING THEY ALSO PROVIDE A FREE TRANSPORT SERVICE FOR TOURISTS STAYING IN BUGIBBA WHICH IS SUPERB. CASUAL
It is a nightclub with jazz and 80's rock music played by a local singer. It has a superb atmosphere and the singer is very good!I recommend it for the people who want to stay for a drink and listen live music
If you go into St Julians and look for Paceville you will find loads of pubs/bars/clubs all lined up one after the other.I found if you walk around you soon get drawn into one by the loud music playing.You can generally find something to suit all around here. Dress to impress
The local beers are cheap and delicious! Our favourite was CISK, a gorgeous lager served cold, perfect for those warm evenings after a day on the beach! Farsons, the makers of Cisk, also have a sweet soda concoction called KINNIE. Their slogan ('Taste first!') doesn't inspire much confidence. You should probably 'taste first' in case you don't like it. It reminded me of Pimms mixed with flat ginger ale. Some cafes and kiosks sell the juice of freshly squeezed blood oranges. It may look crimson in colour but it takes just the same.Many of the locally made wines are lovely...and very inexpensive!MARSOVIN are probably the best Maltese winemakers although some of their bottles are bit of a cheat. The wine may have been made in Malta, but most of the grapes are imported from France or Italy!
