Decoration at Portomaso

Going down the steps of Portomaso you will find the harbour of Portomaso where loads of boats are tied. This photo was taken on the way along the sea side of the harbour. I liked ir so I decided to post the photo. This is like a small pool of water enclosed but it is not used as a pool its just a decoration but I like it as the sea here is really clear.

Going towards San Gwann/StJulians/Gzira roundabout

This is the road coming from the Msida roundabout going towards the San Gwann/St.Julians and Gzira roundabout. On this road at about 7.30 a.m. and even at about 5.00 p.m. in Winter there is always traffic or some accident so beware if you are passing through these roads at this time. On this road coming from the St. Julians direction there are two petrol stations one close to Regional road are of St Julians and one close to the Regional Road area close to Msida Roundabout. Please note that if you are on the regional road on the side going towards St.Julians -the next petrol station is long way futher up and infact you have to drive all the way up to St. Andrews as on that side of the road there is no petrol station and if your tank is close to empty you will end up stuck on the road !

The remians of Villa Cassar Torregiani

I took this photo so that everyone out there can see the horrible huge buildings sites that are being built in Malta. Here once there was an old huge house called Villa Cassar Torregiani. When my dad was a kid he used to go to play tennis in the tennis courts of the house as he knew the son of the person who used to own the house. I always remember this house and the few houses adjacent to this Villa standing there majestically.

Today even though the authorities said that they are not going to pulled down the Villa but are going to restore it. However theys till built behind this horrible construction that ruined the surroundings. This is seen in the photo !
