The Parish church is dedicayed to 'Our Lady of Sorrows' and is an outstanding landmark in the old village core.Built in 1900 on a piece of land donated by 'Anna Bugeja' it is officiated by the 'Franciscan Conventual Friars. It is of Doric style with one bell tower and fifteen stained glassed windows adorn the church. The paintings are the work of the famous painter 'Guiseppe Cali'.
This church stands on the high point that overlooks the waterfront and the bay,it was built in memory of Saint Paul who was shipwrecked here at this point on the island.the church is also known as 'Saint Paul's Bonfire' and was constructed in the 14th century and stands on the spot were the saint scrambled ashore.Grandmaster 'Wignacourt' attempted to improve its appearance in the 17th century by making a few alterations that left it neither attractive or grand. The whole church was actually flattened by bombing in WWII and what you see today has been totally reconstructed.
This tower is a fortification overlooking St.Paul's Bay.It is one of the 'Wignacourt towers' which are named after the 'Grand Master' of the 'Knights of Malta' who commissioned their building.Grand Master 'Fra Aloph de Wignacourt' also contributed significantly from his personal funds towards the cost of its contruction. It was built in 1609 and up until 1649 was the only tower in the north of Malta protecting the island. It is open to the public.

Very nice restaurant built on a pier and it gives you the impression you're eating on a boat. Fish and seafood are fresh. Waiters are very professional.
