The Siege Bell in Valletta is a memorial that honors the Allied soldiers killed trying to get supplies to Malta during WWII, when it was under siege by the Germans.
The lower Barracca gardens (also spelt Barrakka) are small with a grecian temple with a statue of Sir Alexander ball who led the siege against the French.
Malta, Gozo and between them the small island of Comino. These are the main 3 islands of Malta. And Gozo is a real beauty worth going over with a ferry from Cirkewwa (as a foot passanger or by car).
