Nightlife? What nightlife!? :), Valletta
For clubbing and nightlife, everybody in Malta go to Paceville area. This is place out of Valletta, near St Julians which you can reach wheather by car or by a regular bus. It is like a nightlife zone in Malta. There are many clubs, discos, pubs and caffes in Paceville.
The most popular clubs are Plush, Vodka bar, Hawaii...
Valletta is not considered a destination for nightlife. Although it is bustling throughout the day,it quiets down considerably in the evening after the shops close. If you are looking for nightlife, head to Paceville in St Julian's. You won't be disappointed!
As Valetta is mainly cafe bars, we were looking for something a bit more lively being a mixture of army, navy and mod civilians. We jumped in a cab to St Julian's from Valletta City Centre, this was around 25 Euros. It was the same again back to Valletta.
Music differed from bar to bar, we spent most of our time in a bar called plush.
There is no end of choices for eating in the area, McD's. Subway, Pizza Hut and some more classy restaurants to choose from too.
Plenty of drinks offers available, free/half price drinks vouchers dished out on the street.
Be careful not to leave drinks unmanned by your friends as there are some unsavoury elements hanging about.
Dress Code: Casual Dressed. Our group were mainly in jeans, flip flops, trainers, and casual t-shirts.
