We tried to find to eat out, even if it was quite cold wind at the moment, but when we had just came from snow and ice day before, we wanted to eat out. There were some places at the squere by the Republic street/main street, and this one seemd to have best choise of salty snack food, and friendly looking weithresses, so we choosed it.
Favorite Dish: They had good ham and cheese toast with french fries. In those simple foods it´s important to have good cheese and good ham- what else could go wrong ;)

After a long day visiting Valletta and on a sunday we decided to have a break so we stopped here to have coffee. After having the coffee we stayed here for lunch as well and it was worth it! Free wifi is available as well so personally it was the perfect place in Valletta.

Eddies cafe is just off the main street in Valletta. We sat here and watched a parade go by. The coffee was delicious and the elderly waiter lovely if a little stressed. The coffee here was cheaper than across the street at cafe Cordinia.

Just in front of the Library is a terrace area which belongs to surrounding restaurants. Eddie´s was one of the highlights on my holiday. The service was so excellent and friendly. They serve not only the local specialities but also international dishes. We tried traditional Lampuki (fish) and Qarabali (stuffed marrows). Eddie´s has tasty coffees as a dessert too. Try Jamaican ;)

A: I think a full day in Valletta would do to explore the town quite well. You could add a second visit to Malta to go to Mdina.
