The Malta Experience is an audio visual show which could be a good introduction to the history of Malta from prehistoric times up to the present days.
It is not a movie. Lots of pics about Malta are shown on a big screen into a huge auditorium. You are given a headphone, so that you can hear the explanation in your language. It is dificult to explain how it works. you have to go and watch this show.

· An ideal way to start your tour of the Islands is by visiting the newly updated Malta Experience at the Mediterrenean Conference Centre in Valletta, an excellent audio visual programme covering the history of Malta through the Ages. Mdina, the old capital which simply has to be visited, has its own show, the Mdina Experience. In Gozo the Gozo 360 ° is equally impressive

SEE THE MALTA EXPERIENCE SHOW I really feel that it is important to see this audio-visual presentation which covers 7,000 years of Malta's history from Neolithic times onwards. I think it would be most beneficial to attend this show the first or second day of your stay there,so when you visit the historic sites, you will be able to appreciate and understand them more. The show lasts approximately 50 minutes and there are earphones offered with a large selection of languages ,so you can choose the language of your choice.
7,000 years of Malta's history condensed into 50 minutes. Although this barely scratches the surface of Malta's rich history,it is an excellent overview.
