We went to Valletta on Sunday specifically to see the market but I wouldn't bother again. I've never seen a bigger load of worthless junk for sale anywhere, and on Sunday the things that you'd REALLY be better off seeing are closed. If you love markets and if you can get to Valletta on another day then OK, but otherwise I'd give the market a miss and visit Valletta some other day.
Anyways, the market is held just outside the city walls near to the bus depot.
Waterfront in Valletta
Don't forget to visit Valletta's rennovated waterfront. Here there are loads of shops and restaurants !
This is the main street of Valletta, where there is almost all the shopping to be done. You can just stroll there and then explore the side streets, which in my opinion are more interesting.
