Ta' Rikardu is a local restaurant inside the Citadel just at the side of the Church you find just as you enter ! This place is on the side of the law courts. Its a quaint, warm and cosy place made and the environment is very welcoming as it reminds me of those old wooden warm houses.
One cannot leave Gozo and not visit Ta' Rikardu and if you want to taste soem local food you should go to this place however beware the place is always full up and people book in advance.
From the place one can buy sun dried tomatoes, local honey and loads of food done locally like wine and liquers.
Favorite Dish: Well this place serves local wine and local food. There is no menu infact. However one can take soup as first course and then they make you a platter of sun dried tomatoes, olives, tomatoes, onions, capers and gbejniet (cottage cheeslets) served with olive oil and warm Maltese bread - simply divine !

This place is one of my favorite places in Gozo as it is not expensive and even though it is sort of a coffee shop however the serve whole pizzas and they are really good! Then they serve the usual things - drinks, coffee, tea and snacks and sandwiches.
Favorite Dish: Pizza is amazing !

This place is ideal for Summer and even for Winter. The place is very relaxed and its ideal if you want to stop for a sandwich, snack or a drink or a beer.
They even have 'pastizzi' and pastries too.
Favorite Dish: pastizzi

Cafe Jubilee is one of the coffee shops & bars in the centre just next to the market. It has nice terrace to sit outside for a beer or a snack.
