This charming casino is situated in an unlikely but charming spot. It is situated in a medieval palace overlooking the creek dividing Birgu from Isla (Senglea). Enjoy also the stylish restaurant and cocktail bar.

Del Borgo must be my favourite wine bar. I love the place, the location, the food, the wine, the ambience, the interiors and the service is excellent.
Just like a night out in Vittoriosa, the wine bar Del Borgo is a trance between the present and the medival times.
I can actually compare it to my favourite wine bars abroad. You must try it out, you will love it.
Dress Code: Casual to smart to trendy. . .

This was one of the first wine bars that open its doors to alternative nights in Vittoriosa. Il - Forn owned by a foreign artist made a great hit and brought back life to the old Vittoriosa. It is a very old house situated in an alley, it has 2 floors and also a terrace where one can try maltese food and taste foreign and local wines.
The contemporary art, made by the owner himself, makes this wine bar remarkably interesting.
Another great plus is that eventhough this wine bar is relatively new, it has just been refurbished!
Last but not least, we had a VT meeting here and everyone had loved it.
Dress Code: Casual dress code will do.

This is a restuarant/coffeshop situated on top of the bastions just as soon as you enter the entrance of the War Museum. One can eat here but also taste the lovely pastries and have tea or coffee.

Il-Forn is the Maltese word for bakery. Il-Forn is this small welcoming wine bar where one can have a nice glass of wine or a drink. The place serves snacks and bagettes and cheeses and other food platters of your choice.
The place is small and you intend going in the weekend you have to book as the it is always full up in the weekends !

The Casino di Venezia is situated in Vittoriosa alongside the sea. Infact many foreigners come with their boats come from Italy and other places and berth their boats in the port and just get off their and enjoy a night at the Casino. I am not sure if it is still done but I am sure once they used to do that. The Casino is not so elaborate as the Dragonara Casino because it is a smaller version however I prefer the one in St.Julians.
Dress Code: Make sure you take your Identity Card or passport with you and to enter one has to be over 25 years of age.

The main square (Piazza Vittoriosa) is where most of what you might call "nightlife" is clustered - just a handful of cafe/bars and of course The Band Club. St. Lawrence's Band Club has a nice open area out the back with a small grotto. Drinks and snacks are quite cheap, as at all band clubs.

I like Vittoriosa. It's not big.....only around 800 metres by 400 metres....a butter-coloured warren of narrow streets and alleyways. Its original name was Birgu, one of Malta's 'Three Cities', and...
