Take a walk up the ridge near Butuceni. The monastry is beneath the belfry.
The church room of the this monastry is still used for devotions.
Walk downstairs to the cells where the monks lived.
And enjoy the view from the little platform high up in the rock face outside the church room.

Visit the little village museum.
Here they show a house in the typical architectural style of the region.
In the house typical artefacts are shown; tools, clothes, etc..
They also have a storage building, which is dug into the ground. Here you can see how the farm produce were, and still are (!), stored in the country side.
