When in Moldova you may visit only wine cellars and fallow wines' tastes.:) One of the most popular is Cricova. The best way to buy or taste it is to go to their Wine Producing Factory which is famous in the whole world for its unique underground labyrinths (probably the biggest in the world!). The Wine Producing Factory “Cricova” is by all means an extraordinary undeground complex with a huge production capacity. Morover, now it is declared also to be an object of national patrimony, under the direct state’s and UNESCO protection. In the year of 2002 “Cricova” had the honour to be granted the supreme state award - «The Order of Republic», as a sign of acknowledgement of its remarkable contribution to the development of the Moldovian economy and for its special accomplishments in the field of the wine production industry.
If you net feel like visitng Crivova you may buy wines at their shop, just in the center of Chisinau.Related to:

Cricova: Moldavian wines & spirits
There’s not much shopping to do in Chisinau, except for the Moldavian spirits - wines, brandy and champagne. Try all famous brands, but don’t miss the Cricova. They have a shop on the main commercial street on the right as you go towards Unirii square.Related to:

Bucuria: Famous Moldovan Chocolates
Inesa told us this was her favorite shop several times during our busride from Iasj to Chisinau. They mostly sell chocolates (bomboane) and candy, but you can also get soft drinks and bottled water.
What to buy: Well, it is a bit difficult to know what to get when you don't speak the language. We just used the trial and error method the first time we were there, pointing at different ones, and buying just a couple of each to try them out. Then we met Inesa (pure coincidence!) and she pointed out some good ones, including one I especially liked called "Macul Rosu".
What to pay: Not that expensive. Small change really.Related to:
