Kvint: Eastern Europe's Finest
Kvint Brandy is the pride of Transdniester and you can pick up your bottle either at the Kvint Factory and Distillery or at their dedicated shop on Ul. 25 Oktober. The variety of brandies on offer is mind boggling as is the price range! However the price of the Kvint brandy in Tiraspol is much cheaper than buying it anywhere else including 'proper' Moldova. Bear in mind that you can pay in Transdniestrian roubles only but there is a convenient in-shop currency exchange booth! The Kvint distillery also produces a range of wines and vodkas which can be purchased in the store. You can even pick up a bottle of Brandy celebrating 20 years of Transdniestrian independence decorated with transdniester flag, coat of arms and map! At $3 a pop it's a bargain ;)
Kvint: Only the Finest Transnistrian Cognac
Kvint is considered a national symbol in Transnistria. Manufacturers of liquors such as vodka and brandy, Kvint has been producing alcoholic beverages for more than one hundred years and is the oldest company in Transnistria.
Today, you can visit the Kvint Factory Store located on the grounds of their factory. You will find various types of brandy and vodka, as well as wine, for sale. I personally purchased several bottles of cognac for the equivalent of about two Canadian dollars each. They also offer tours of the distillery and tastings, which you can reserve through their website.
(Oh... I should mention that I don't like brandy at all so I haven't opened the bottles! I gave all but one away and my last bottle shall serve as a souvenir! Who knows though- brandy aficionados might love it!)

This small flea market has mostly old clothings and parts to repair things, but also some Soviet medals, coins, some porcellain as well.
It looked like open daily but i might be wrong.
What to buy: Soviet medals?
