Prince Ranier was the ruler of Monaco who married the American film star Grace Kelly. Princess Grace was the reason why Monaco became the place to go for the rich and famous and not just a small principality that happens to have a casino. The Princess was beautiful and elegant and adored by the people of Monaco. The Princess died in a car accident in 1982 and was mourned by her family, the country and the world. Prince Ranier died in 2005. The Prince and Princess are both buried in the Cathedral in which they were married.
Liz is a big fan of Grace Kelley so I got more that an earful of the history surrounding the whole Prince and Princess love affair etc.

As a big admirer of this beautifull lady it was such a honour for me to be able to visit her grave and that of her husband Prince Rainier who is buried next to her.
