A stylized replica of the great outdoors, with its mountain, hill, waterfall, beach and brook, this surprising 7000 m2 park is an authentic work of art created by respecting the strictest principles of the Zen concept of compactness.

An exceptional park at the foot of the city, this eastern garden is touched by a particular atmosphere, harmoniously combining stone, water and vegetation.

It took three people and three elements to give Monaco a true Japanese garden. The three people a prince named Rainier (for the request), a landscape-architect called Yasuo Beppu (for the design) and a Shinto High Priest (for the blessing)... the three elements stone, water and vegetation. Put them all together, mix them and what comes out is a garden of perfect harmony and serenity.

Granted that I am not really an expert on japanese gardens, this one seems to have all the correct " paraphernalia:

    a wall (Heï)
    a bamboo fencing (Takégaki)
    a main gate (Shô-mon)
a lake with gold fish (Iké)
    a stone fountain (Fusen-Ishi)
    a covered terrace (Kyukeïjo)
    a tea house (Chatshitsu)
    a dry landscape (Karésansui)
    a belvedere (Azumaya)
    a waterfall (Taki)
    an arched red bridge (Taïkobashi)
    some islands (Shima)
    some stone lanterns (Tôrô)

It's really a beautiful and peaceful garden.

Master piece. Free of change entrance to an amazing place.

It is A MUST in Monte Carlo -- a small park in japanese style around mini lake with golden fishes. Japanese styled house, trees, blooming lilies and orchids.

Piece of mind is guaranteed. You will have no desire to leave.

A surprising "zen" japanese garden located by the sea and surrounded by the buildings.
A very relaxing place is you need to take a break during your visit.
