At this convenient station, trains arrive
and depart from Nice, Cannes, Antibes,
and Menton every thirty minutes.

Bus lives every hour from 9.00 to 21.00 and it takes 50 minutes to reach there.

This tip is actually mid-getting there and mid-must see. I do not actually know why I put it in this section. I wanted to think how to recreate the views you could see from getting by boat. So if you need this particular tip not only as a practical thing, but as aesthetical, too, you might go to the furthest end of the pier and get the same effect free of charge. Walking around Monte Carlo you will see and hear cars of every type. The familiar sound of a Ferrari engine was all around us. Being from the US, we don't see many of those. In Monte Carlo, I thought everyone drove one.
Bottom line, if you are a car afficionado, you will definitely enjoy the sites. Theme: Car/Motor Home

This is an experience of a lifetime!
I was told its the best way to get from Nice Airport to Monaco. Train is slow, but cheap. Car/taxi is slow and expensive.
You go to their desk in the main terminal, and then a minibus takes you to the helipad. 5 minutes later (its an hour by road) you land in Monte Carlo.
Its over the sea all the way, and you have the Alps to the north. Great views of Monaco as you come in. Utterly spectacular.
Did the same on the way back.
It was about £50/€75 single in those days.

The closest international airport to Monaco and Monte Carlo is Nice Airport in France some 30 minute drive South of the Principality. The airport is served by both domestic French flights and many international flights. The airport has two terminals and offers easy access to and from Monaco. Leave a Comment
