Monte-Carlo Casino: Slot Machines

by viddra

The Casino was built in 1878 by Charles Garnier. There's marble, columns, sculptures, paintings and lamps everywhere. The 'gaming rooms' are numerous, with stained-glass windows.Taking pictures inside is strictly forbidden! A jacket and a tie required.Rucksacks to be left in the cloakroom.

Monte Carlo Casino: An elegant casino

by hopang

Monte Carlo Casino is the most beautiful and most popular casino in Monte Carlo. Entrance fee is charged for entering the casino proper. Nevertheless no entrance fee is charged for entering the slot machines room near the entrance to the casino. The casino is beautifully lit-up at night especially in front of its premises with the adjoining hotel and the restaurants. Classic table games are available in the main casino such as the American, European and English Roulettes, Three Card and Stud Pokers, Trente et Quarante, Black Jack, Big Wheel, Punto Banco, Craps and Chermin de Far. Make it a point to visit the Monte Carlo Casino at night even if you are not a gambler - plenty of beautiful night scenes for your favourite souvenir snapshots! Correct attire mandatory in the main casino and all the game rooms. In the Salons Privés, jacket recommended. No sports shoes.

Brasserie de Monaco: Real Monaco Beer

by AuntieFlorrie

Monaco's only micro-brewery opened in 2008. There are 3 brews available, white (blanche), amber (ambree), and blonde (the normal lager type). There are 2 huge screens that show either sports or news/fashion, tho' the sound isn't always on. Large benches and tables, and when the Grand Prix and the Yacht Show aren't on, there are tables on the terrace overlooking the yachts in the port.If you want a snack with your beer, they serve local specialites like socca. Smart casual, as everywhere in Monaco.

Monte Carlo Casino's: A Gambler's Dream

by envelnikki

Even if you have never gambled any where else, this is the place to do it!! I'm not talking about parting with thousands of dollars, just visit the coin slots so you can say you've been gambling in Monte Carlo!! My friend and I played 10 Euro's in the 20 cent slot machine and ended up winning 120 Euro's, so we can now tell people that we gambled and WON in Monte Carlo!!! It really is worth a visit. From what I could tell there definitely is a dress code in all of the Monte Carlo casino's so I would wear something nice just to be on the safe side!

Jimmy'z Monaco: High prices do not make high quality

by unsatisfiedcustomer

I was there last night and asked for my bottle of vodka that I had left there a few weeks before. Low and behold they had lost it. They even tried to claim that actually maybe I was mistaken and that I had actually not left a bottle! After 20 minutes of conversation (with the waiter who was responsible for the section I had been sitting at previously) I was presented with a bottle of half empty vodka with my name on it. Not wanting to create a fuss I accepted the compromise bottle (despite the fact the bottle I left was almost full). To make matters worse when I drank some it was clear that it had been diluted significantly. When I highlighted that to the waiter his "solution" was to give me a glass of (non-watered down) vodka! It seems that Jimmy'z thinks it is acceptable that when they lose a customers bottle then they can go find an almost empty one, top it up with water (of whatever...

The Grand Casino: A James Bond Experience

by kucha

Whether you've seen the James Bond movie set in the Grand Casino or not, a trip to this Monte Carlo landmark is a must! However, if you do plan on visiting the Grand Casino, you'll need your passport to enter. Monegasques are not allowed to gamble in their own casinos, and passports are checked to enforce this law. The Casino was designed by Charles Garnier, the architect of the Paris Opera House. Even if you're not a gambler, you should go in to see the beautiful frescoes and bas reliefs. Many can be seen from the lobby of the casino without having to pay the entrance fee. There is a fee ranging from 50 to 100F, depending on which room you enter. The gaming rooms are spectacular, with stained glass, paintings, and sculptures everywhere. Makes the slot machines look a little out of place! There are two other more Americanized casinos in Monte Carlo. Neither of these has an admission fee,...

Le Sporting Club: Fancy place to be

by Elainehead

Besides concerts, this place has restaurants as well. I'm not sure, but I guess there is also a casino. It's definitely an adult spot and a good place for people watching, since many people dress up to come here. The Japanese restaurant "Fuji" (check my restaurant tips) here only opens for dinner during the summer. No jeans and no sneakers, except you're very famous (i.e.: people easily recognize you wherever you are).

Before, during of right after the fashion collection feature, Models and top models go there for display.Do not surprise if you have a conversation with these special and 'woow' people For girlsThis season is brand new, 2001 is a modern collection about now. There is no reference to vintage, there is no retro. The '90s were all about long and linear; this season I wanted to go against that and work with shape. The most important accessory is the bra. The breasts are covered but there is much more of a line. It is very curvy, very stretchy. It is perhaps a little Marilyn Monroe, but today's woman is not as vulnerable, she is strong and fierce. The shoulder is longer and stronger, more angular. The waist is very fitted.Skirts slightly poof out at the bottom, there is volume around the knees with movement and shape. There are lots of strapless dresses, but with an understructure and very...

Monte-Carlo

At Monte-Carlo, celebration is an art that is practiced in enchanted corners and major meeting places, for boredom has no place under the stars of the principality. Entirely dedicated to the night, the Monte-Carlo Sporting Club, on a peninsula won from the sea, combines a music hall, gaming rooms, restaurants and, last but not least, the favorite night clubs of the jet set. .During the summer, the regulars of the Parady'z dance on the banks of an enchanting lagoon. As for Jimmy'z, it is the most prestigious and dazzling of all the night clubs on the French Riviera..
