The Cathedral in Monaco Ville

by matcrazy1

Doesn't it look great? It's one of the places you can't miss while in Monaco. Don't forget to go inside but... hmm... I have seen more beautiful cathedrals in Europe (of which the one in Toledo, Spain was the most beautiful in my opinion).

MENTON

by Pomska

Menton is just a mile from the Italian border and therefore it's the most Italian of the French resorts. It has several fine tropical gardens, and citrus fruits thrive in a climate mild enough for the lemon festival in February.

The MONTE-CARLO BEACH HOTEL is...

by handsoum

The MONTE-CARLO BEACH HOTEL is something differentfrom every other beach. The most exclusive beach in Monte-Carlo is also, as you might expect, the most expensive. However, here, you can enjoy very numerous activites, a great beach, pool, gourmet restaurants that will serve you on the beach 'si tel est le désir de Madame' and unequaled service. This is also a hotel, so you might think about living up to luxury's requirements, away from the common crowd, and only minutes away (by Rolls) from the main casino and very close to the Sporting Club de Monte-Carlo (home of the famous Salle des Etoiles and Jimmy's Nightclub for the extremely wealthy)Visit the web page of the Société des Bains de Mer, who cater for the rich, www.sbm.mc

by kochamanita

I think this aspect of Monaco is really amazing. Where in the US can you walk right out to some huge yacht and just gawk at it, and move on to the next, absolutely free? Most places here you're fenced off. Well, in Monaco, you can walk right up. Here's a picture of me hanging around the docks.

Principato di Seborga

by CliffClaven

There's a new state on the Riviera. Nip across the border to Italy and up into the hills above Imperia to find the Principality of Seborga. It does a nice little trade these days in attracting the curious to look at its cute mouse-that-roared existence in the hills. Change your money into the local luigini, buy some of the local postage stamps and look out for Prince Giorgio himself as he takes his evening passeggiata.

by pjallittle

For expediency, these two photos are joined, at least they are in proper order, and present as two grand castles, one on land and the other in the sea below, both fit for a king, queen, prince or princess. One of them is available to you, we hope that someday before it is too late that you consider giving this a try. It is no longer a British firm, sadly, though still the Cunard Line, it is actually overseen by Seabourn but the entire group is under none other than the Carnival Cruise Lines. It still has a decidedly British flavour. Yes, they do provide vinegar for your chips, (french fries for Yanks) light or dark. Vinegar, that is.Aside from that, the way in which the British prepare bacon is out of this world. Tried the kippered herring. Loved them. Trouble is, they loved me back, just lingered and remained, sure did make an impression. Tried it again, this time with Pepcid AC. Oh...

If anyone is interested,...

by pjallittle

If anyone is interested, there's a nice looking penthouse suite over looking the water at St. Martin, in the Virgin Islands, a mere 2.2 million. It has a master bedroom that is over 1000 Square feet, an enormous covered balcony which could double for a jogging track, and the living room dwarfs the bedroom. I mention this here to draw a comparison. Half that or even less will cost you twice that price in Monaco. >Enjoy the view, it is this way all the way through to Italy and on down the West Coast of Italy. As this voyage continues, you'll get a chance to see Napoli, the Isle of Capri, Pompeii and the Amalfi Drive.

Rockclimbing in Monaco

by gabyne

Sounds funny, but Monaco is well-known for rock climbing. On the rocks above the city there are many climbing routes. I haven't been there myself but I read it's good there.
