Not once during my visit to...

by Nomad_2001

Not once during my visit to Monaco did I eat at a restaurant in Monaco. I brought picnics that I prepared in nearby Nice (where I stayed at a youth hostel). Of course, the many bakeries and various produce and meat stands in Nice provide the supplies for the best picnics! A great place to set down for a picnic in Monaco is in the Jardin Exotique.

Le Botticelli: Le Botticelli

by holligolytly

Le Botticelli is the perfect place to stop for dinner and wine before trying your luck at the casinos (so if you go home with empty pockets, at least your stomach is full :). I loved this place especially because it looks out on the marina full of beautiful and enormous yachts. Salade Caprese and Gnocchi Roquefort. I really love Italian, and the gnocchi here is delicious!

We have not eaten in Monaco that single day I just visited in transit but I remember the good meals we have been offered in the Grand Casino when they see we were Turkish.Later on I understood and discovered that many Turkish citizens were good customers of them....Knowing this advantage years after I also visited a Casino in Nice where that time I did not miss the occasion of getting well served in their free restaurant by just being Turkish even if I dont gamble and dont play such games.. counter herevar site='sm4yakacik'

Why, the world famous CAFE de...

by Krystynn

Why, the world famous CAFE de PARIS, of course! Well, it was a major eye-opener and experience for me just to sip a cup of cafe latte here! Gee, I do sound like a country-bumpkin, don't I? But honestly, I have never seen a more glamorous city compared to Monte Carlo. Oh...look! Wasn't that Princess Stephanie that just walked by....? See what I mean?

Il Tarrazzino. Very close to...

by soccatala

Il Tarrazzino. Very close to the Casino (rue de l'Iris) you can foud this wonderful italian restaurant. Raffaele (the owner) is very kind and fmiliar with clients, he is like la Mamma... You will allways eat a lot. Fresh vegetables, a lot of pasta, no pizzas at all, pretty good pastisserires made by themselves, and don't forget the limoncello (lemon alcoolic dink as digestif). The prices ara arround 300 FF per person, depending on wine, obviously! The atmosphere is very familiar, it is very small, but the owner is making ths job for love, and you feel it. You can ask for the menu, but the better is to say to Raffaelle to do as it feels. He will bring you lots of different pastas, some made at home. Also the anti-pasta are allways great and changing often. Ask for the risotto, or the carameli ( kind of big ravioli). Everything is good there!

One of the trendiest restaurants in Monte-Carlo. Located on the top floor of the Grimaldi Forum, it offers outdoor dining with panoramic views of the harbor and yachts.

Fairly reasonably priced Italian restaurant in Monte Carlo. Food is great. Located on the waterfront in front of yacht harbor. Escalope Veal Valdostana, Baby Squid, House wine is delicious.

We were only there for the day and grabbed a panini from the fast food shop on the street.
