Famous in all the world, the most fascinating (and boring... ;D) GP will be played from 20th to 23th may 2004.

Equipment: I tried to do my personal lap normally in the trafic and my score was... about 25 minutes to do my lap :)

Ferrari once driven by Michael Schumacher

If you happen to visit Monaco in late May, you may stand a chance to watch Formula One Grand Prix World Championship held at the Circuilt de Monaco at the harbour. The F1 motor racing grand prix is usually held in the circuit in late May yearly. It is one of the glamorous events in the Formula One World Championship calender. Every professional F1 racing driver likes to win the Monte Carlo grand prix as it is held on the city streets unlike most other events that held at the proper racing tracks or circuits! One of the multiple winners at Monte Carlo Grand Prix is Michael Schumacher of Germany.

The most exciting, prestigious Formula 1 race of the season. It's not just the skill of the drivers, nor the technical superiority of the cars, but also the glamour and tradition.

Scrimp and save and go for cheap accommodation in towns further along the coast in Italy. You could even bring your mobile home or stay on a campsite. But don't go for a budget seat, watch the race from the most expensive you can afford.

If you're thinking of getting a seat in a grandstand, go for K, which we watched from 2 years ago. It gives you a view from the tunnel exit to the swimming pool. Tickets for the stands are available from the Automobile Club.

Pay a bit more and you could get a place on a private terrace, which is what we did last year. Sheltered from the rain, we made some new friends and had as much food and drink as we liked. We're thinking of doing it again this year.

Equipment: Bring a cushion if you're sitting in a grandstand.
If you book a private terrace, bring some ID.

Tunel, Monaco

Each year, the F1 Monaco Grand-Prix is organized by the Automobile Club of Monaco.
Prices for tickets range from 46€ to more than 323€ for really good seats.
Many residents also rent their terraces and some restaurants along the course organize a special lunch

A spring classic: Formula 1 racing

Senna, in second place, will go on to win.

If you like car racing, this is the best! Every year, Montecarlo hosts a Formula1 Grand Prix. It is a spring classic (always at the end of May) - and probably the most enjoyable of all F1 races because the circuit is so narrow (on the city streets of Monaco) that you are as close as you can get to the action.

The Formula 1 Grand Prix is *the* spectator sport event in the Principality. It is also one of the most exciting motor racing shows^ add up some of the fastest cars on Earth and the narrow winding streets and you’ll see why. Tickets are costly, though, but you can always watch from a rooftop or the Casino surroundings.

Monaco's Grand Prix

One of the most exciting events in Monaco must be the "Monaco Grand Prix" held in the spring. It's one of the one of the world's greatest and most challenging motor-racing events. The race is set around the narrow, winding streets of Monte Carlo. The main attraction is the proximity of the speeding Formula One cars to the race spectators. The twisting 78-lap circuit offers opportunities for spectators to witness the thrill of screaming engines, smoking tires and the genius of the drivers over the 263-kilometre race on a course that allows no margin for error. The first Monaco Grand Prix was held on the 14th of April 1929. Since then, the fastest average race speed has risen from 80 kilometres (50 miles) per hour to 142 kilometres (88 miles) per hour.

The 61st Monaco Grand Prix took place at 2:00 pm on the June 1, 2003. Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya driving a Williams BMW was the winner.

Equipment: Reserving a hotel during the Grand Prix should be done at least a year in advance as this race is very popular in Europe. If by chance you can get a hotel room, make sure you take binoculars.

Monaco Grand Prix

This is the ultimate form of contemporary madness. Take the fastest cars and have them racing in the narrow streets of Europe's smallest tax-haven. Every year at the end of May the Formula One circus makes a pitstop in Monaco. All the action is in here..

Equipment: Photo and video camera, cool specs...
