If you visit Monte Carlo Casino at night, don't miss the fountain that changes colours located at the park just behind the Monte Carlo Casino. The fountain changes into several beautiful colours at night such as blue, red, yellow and white as depicted in our photographs on the right. The buildings surrounding the fountain are also beautifully and brightly illuminated at night. In our opinion, this park is certainly the most beautiful part of the city of Monte Carlo at night! Kindly flip through our photographs above to view the many different beautiful colours of the fountain and the buildings around it!

We walked all the way up from the train station to the hill where the Roal Palace stands. So we had to go down the hill and then walk up the long snake road around the hill (pic 1)Plan ahead though because if you want to see the funny (and touristic) change of guards try to be up in the hill at11:55am! Every day the change of guards take place in front of the palace (pic 3). Take some pictures, especially of the guards that laugh with their useless perfomance! :)

The beautiful colors of the houses in the Old Town will need some space of your digital card! Walk around for a while, buy your souvenirs and head down from the other side, admire some nice gardens and take some panoramic photos of the city, the port etc We did this slowly and we enjoyed it a lot!If you want you can go to the Casino area then. Monte Carlo is famous so the entrance is 10-25 euros (depends where you want to play) but anyway the area around the casino is better so don't loose your money there and admire the beautiful gardens and the houses that seem to be there just to impress you. One funny thing in Monaco is that you can walk (and drive of course!) on the circuit road that the Gran Prix of Formula One take place! If you want to see the formula one race you have to book your tickets in advance.

The glamorous Monte Carlo Marina is located at Port Hercules at Condamine District in the harbour of Monte Carlo which is the continuing part of the French Riviera. Monte Carlo is a small city which is just three kilometers long and is sandwiched between Mont Des Mules (also known as the Rock) and the Mediterranean Sea. Land is limited and scarce and buildings will have to build upwards. The whole length of the sea is occupied by marinas and harbour. Monte Carlo is a popular tourist destination in Europe. Luxury yachts of different sizes owned by the rich and famous and billionaires can be seen anchoring at the marina which can accommodate approximately 500 boats. Change of Guard at Prince's Palace in Monte Carlo is a tourist attraction. It attracts hundreds of foreign tourists every day. Changing of guard is carried out at the palace at 11.55 a.m. sharp. It lasts for approximately 20 minutes. However chances of seeing Prince Albert II at the palace are very slim. Nevertheless visitors have the opportunity to take home with them some lovely photographs as souvenirs!
