Place du Palais

by tim07

This large square in front of the Palais Princier is lined with cannons cast during the reign of Loius XIV, it is the place where tourists gather to see the daily Changing of the Guard. The square is connected to the lower-level town via the red brick-paved Rampe Major & its two 16th century gates. The views from the square give a panoramic view of the port & Monte-Carlo, it is also possible to see as far as Italy.

Prince's Palace

by HispanicYob

Another place to check out when you're strolling around Monaco-Ville is this place. It's not too far a walk from anywhere in town, including the train station. The Palace can easily be seen from any slope in Monaco. It serves today as a museum but don't be fooled because it's still a working palace. You will see the guards doing their rounds at the front of the entrance. It's an impressive structure that is surrounded to the West by the Meditteranean as well as by tourist shops to it's southern portion.

Old Town

The Grimaldi Forum

by Luchonda

One of the big revenues in Monaco, the exposition hall or business center in Monaco/Monte Carlo and all this next to the Casino incomes, the yearly tourists, bankings and spending miljardairs. The Grimaldi Forum Monaco opened for expositions in September 2000. It is an engineering miracle, built on land reclaimed from the sea. Fontvieille, another district in Monaco was also reclaimed from the sea - "Monaco need space"Most of hotel rooms ( 4 and 5 stars ) are within walking distance near the forum and shuttles are rarely neededIn my case - Le Méridien is only a five minutes walk away

The Exotic Gardens: a.k.a. Exquisite Gardens

by nixca316

Located at Eze, these gardens are filled with cacti/agave plants, succulent plants and other similar species. It's very, very beautiful and I'm so sad that the only one picture got through the scanner a little bit clear that I didn't have to turn it into black and white or grayscale. These spectacular gardens have been open to the public since 1933.

The Monaco Cathedral

by nixca316

This Cathedral was built on the original site of the St. Nicholas church that was demolished in 1874. There is a funeral chapel on the left of the single-aisled church (where all the Grimaldi Princes received their burial rites) and the Sacred Heart Chapel on the right.
