Yeah baby, sex museum, and Amsterdam is a paradise for hornies, LOL
also a paradise for homosexuals, Lesbiens, and Narckomen, and also for special persons who likes Sado-mazochism!
You will have a good idea by entering the sex museum, but be careful, some photos are really disguasting, and not all the sex imaginations are good!
Though you have to be very careful, I tell you this story, it happened with me under the eyes of Catnl, and Sachara!
I like a simple naive guy, wanted to take a picture for my hot nightlife tip on VT, as everything seemed to be perfect, beautiful ladies, sexy bodies and they were smiling to me, BUT, once they saw my little camera out to shot, they turned there backs and got out with bottles of water and in a scandle way they give me and poor Carin *catnl* a cold bath of water in the night, they were enough aggrssive with us, but the thing that I never knew it was forbidden to take photos, so please don't do that ever!
just watch and go!
or if you want watch, enter pay money, do your job and get out LOL
Red Light District is the heart of the famous Dutch spirit of the night, spirit of the freedom and spirit of the ligalization of prestitution!!!
the moral of it was to make control of this very old buisness, and to control the whores!
but it still not understandable for many people, espcially the religious or conservative ones, I see it as a real fair way, to avoid scandels and problems, hot women will be presented on the Vetrines just like a product to buy, I mean it was like this since ages, nowadays it is back like thousands years ago where in Babylon for instance men could enter temples to have sex with whores, today you go and pay money to have sex, what is the horrible thing on it?!!
instead of hiding it, everything is controled!
It was late when I went back to my Hotel, after a very hot night with nice impressions and great dinner and wonderful time with my wonderful VT friends, now the night is completed and I for a last time went through the Royal Palace to save a last wonderful image of the night beat of Amsterdam in my head!
If you are a fan of big Cubian Ciggars!
then Amsterdam shops is your paradise, we went Ali *sachara*, Carin *Catnl*, Co and I, in a night walk and we stopped and entered that huge shop, admired all the flavors and smells and had a good idea and went out, as none of us was a Ciggar smoker LOL!
Madame Tussaud Museum the second and only in Europe, there are only 2 in Europe, one in London and other in Amsterdam, I didn't wanted to enter as I was and saw all the charm of it in London, so you can visit my London page and take a look at this wonderful wax museum if you are interested of what is inside it!
Amsterdam has a unique charm at night, a charm you can not find in every city,
I saw that charm already in Paris and Vienna and London, Amsterdam is a city to be added with those for sure in the list, real wonderful night rythem!
It sounds wierd, but the Railstation is a must see activity, oh yes sir, it is!
rather do it at night, it is gorgeous under the lights!
the building is huge and is really wonderful and historical, something like the Antwerpen Railstation in Belgium!
These two clubs... both pretty central and easy to get too...
Las Palmas is
and Now&Wow is
More than just great music... on a normal night there are always decorations and a V.J... and then on specail parties (there is one at least every weekend - often with internation dj's) there are dancers, and more decorations, so if you dont want to dance you can just stare.
Drink prices are pretty standard and theres coat check too for a small price.. and it doesnt clos till late!
Dress Code: Now&wow can be a bit pretentious, but just smart/ casual..
Yes as you see it is the Bike!
The bike is a wonderful discovery, very clean for ecology, very good for your health, and very economic for your pocets and budget, Dutch people understood this very well and very soon, and they reacted like civilized persons should, so almost every one has his her bike, and there are lightsigns for it, and special streets for it too :-D
I also saw the very special and typical thing in Holland the thousands of bycicles near the central railstation, with the double aa in dutch language, it is funny, but logical, one a would be read as fast a like e!
but 2 aa's is giving the right sound of a!
In the summer Europeans go crazy, especially if its one of the rare good summers. There are festivals and events on a daily / nightly basis. Amsterdam is no exception, go to the Vondel Park any afternoon and there will be bands playing. Bigger festivals such as the Gay Parade (see photo) are also in full swing.
Dress Code: Dress code is pretty non-existent in most places in Holland.
This is a techno-parade in Rotterdam similar to the famous Berlin Love Parade. 40 or so trucks each blaring out hard-dance music wind their way through the city's streets and culminate at the Harbour where a huge dance event takes place. The final event costs at least 25 euro to get in but it's worth it. Last time I went (2004) the Parade crossed Rotterdam's Erasmus Bridge which was moving up and down a good 20cm as everyone danced simultaneously! Crazy. At least 150,000 people attend this... so it's BIG.
Dress Code: Dress code? ... haha errr no way, everything and anything goes.
It may not be the world’s best beer, but it’s always reliable and a godsend when you stumble into some dingy, festering bar in a godforsaken corner of the globe and daren’t trust the local brews. Worldwide, it’s probably the most recognisable brand after Guinness. Of course, in Holland it’s the normal daily tipple for the locals, who would never dream of drinking from the bottle and posing, yuppie-like, with the label outwards so that everyone can see how cool they are.
All over the world, amsterdam is known for its unconventional nightlife, so I won´t write about that.
I like a typical "Bruine Kroeg" (brown café) for its great atmosphere. Only Leiden has over a 100 of them!
My son and grandmother shared a room at the Ambassade, where we were greeted by a very friendly and...more
