I was in Amsterdam just before Christmas and the temperature was -24 degrees celsius. Pack thermals, beanie, gloves, scarf and wear plenty of layers.

moneybeltyou have picketpockets on crowded places like schiphol,trains(public transport,markets and sometimes in the line before a museum. umbrella we have sometimes a lot of clouds and rain.
The weather here can change from hour to hour, so an 200 ASA film is the best option. In winter, you can make the best pictures: extremely bright colors and beautiful clouds!

This country is not exactly known for its stable climate, so bring an umbrella, some sweaters and something for a warm day!
