Diever Things to Do
If you're into history, prehistoric information about the West-Drenthe area can be found in this small museum based on the archeological findings of amateur-archeologist George Hendrik Voerman.
There are a lot of pre-historic findings in showcases. And short video's on how they used to make the objects that they used for hunting and gathering.
Ticketprice is €4 for adults, €2 for children 6-12 yrs, and free for children >6Related to:

Open air theater (Shakespeare)
From roughly July to September there is a Shakespeare play (different one each year, in Dutch) in the open air theater in Diever. Complete with Shakespearean costumes.
You can buy tickets at the VVV (tourist office), and you might want to reserve them (well) in advance. It's very popular and people from all over the country will come to see the play.
The theater is in the woods (open air, bring raincoats/blankets. You can buy hot chocolate/coffee/rookworst during the break).
Best to come walking or by bike, like the locals, there is small parking space and part of the road you can use to park if you come by car.
Pictures are under 'Fotos' on the website.Related to:
