Like every larger dutch city, also Almere has its big Albert Heijn supermarket. This one is located underground, but offers the same variety of products you know from other large Albert Heijn markets. It’s a little more expensive than the german discounter chains Lidl and Aldi, but its part of the dutch culture. If you do self-catering, just have a look. If it’s still too expensive, Lidl is only a short walk away.
