Unless you want to get caught in the most boring, dull and slow place (no, I will not call it a city !) stay out.
Almere has nothing. One blowboat (closed most of the time), a shopping center only a fool could have drawn, and a cinema from hell.
The best thing in Almere is the train to Amsterdam...
Unique Suggestions: If you find yourself unfortunate enough to stumble upon this heap of houses, leave. As soon as you can. Trains run from 4.50 in the morning (!) up untill 1:35 at night (See ? Even the train company helps you to get out almost 24 hours a day.)
Fun Alternatives: The best alternative is Amsterdam.

This lovely beach is located in the "Filmwijk".....its only small,but very nice especially for kids.

Different sports can be practiced up here such as tennis,squash,billiards also it is used for other things such as dancing.You can rent rooms and lots more.Its a multifunctional sports centre with 3 bars and lots of thngs to enjoy,such as watching people play inddor football.
