Batavia Stad: Shopping in an "old" Dutch setting
Batavia Stad is an outlet shopping center which houses 132 shops selling Brand names.
Half the number of shops are fashion outlet stores, but there are some nice other shops and restaurants as well.
Unlike other Dutch malls the bathrooms are there (!) and clean!
2013 update: The majority of shops are fashion shops now. Prices are not always the lowest, due to the economical crisis.
More pictures of the latest extension.
What to buy: I got a great deal on new shoes.
Clothing still was pricy, due to the designer names (even with discount).
There were 2 Music stores, but I bought for lower prices at the BRAVO (Free Record Shop) [closed in 2013!] discount stores outside this center.
No dogs alowed; there are doghouses at the Polderpoort entry.
What to pay: At least 30% off.

Key word: Branded!
Branded goods warehouses (according to sources, this place is new).
What to buy: If you are a fan of branded stuffs (like adidas, puma, polo ralph and the list goes on and on...trust me).
What to pay: This is where you can get very good bargains (up to 70% off normal retail price!).

Top brands on sale here at huge discounts. They even advertise on telly!
Free entry and parking.
But if you ask me, I'd rather go to the Batavia Wharf to see old ships built or the New Land Poldermuseum. Or to step aboard one of the classical klippers and go sailing !

So much more !: Shopping in Bataviastad
All kinds of other shops, like Lagerfeld, the Bodyshop, ZaZa, Levi's, The Societyshop, and so on. Want some food and drinks? The food Factory, Sailors and more.
Everything for a nice afternoon!
What to pay: As much as you buy!
Villeroy and Boch: outlet goods in Bataviastad
The outlet store of Villeroy and Boch is all about the better China. The french kind of Wedgewood, I should say.
Beauty for the dinnertable. Expensive but also reasonable because of the discount effect of the outlet.
What to buy: cups and plates. Your most beautyful teapot, sugar and milk pairs, soupcups. Nice designs.
Kroon Passage: Along the South Side of City Hall
The Kroon Passage is a little Mall with some quality shops.
Some how I think it's just a copy of the Den Helder Kroon Passage.
