Bakkeveen Travel Guide

Around Bakkeveen is some great nature which was created by works that were done long time ago (will adjust this text one day). After the moor had been digged out new nature was formed and Bakkeveen then turned into a green bushy area.
It is great to spend some time in Bakkeveen.

It s clean, decent and kind staff. The fried food isn t too fat either.

Oh! almost forgot! they have delicious ice as well! I had the exotic sorbet (2,75 euro) , a bit expensive but yummy! Got additional whipped cream on it for free! :-))

Years back, when I stayed here with a group of youth for the weekend, I was the only one who knew how to roll a cigarette from tobacco. So I had to make everyone a cigarette :-s ... at a certain point I got fed up with it and decided to start smoking myself. Most stupid decision of all my life so far! ... I think .. ;-)

Seems it is a trend to drive through this village in your oldtimer for we saw several of them passing by.
Must be great to drive in such a car! Haha, most drivers didn t mind me photographing them but they waved at me smiling.

Silly detail: this is at the exact spot were I smoked my very first cigarette ... lol
