Probably the best way to explore the Frisian lakes is by means of a relatively small sailing boat. A popular model is the Falcon; it is operated by two people, it's reliable, rather stable and easy to manage.
The best place to rent one is Hoora. A well established name in boat-building. They design and build their own (polyester) Falcons, always apply the latest innovations and have high standard equipment.
Rental incl. an outboard motor is about 315 Euro/week (high season).
