Sonsbeek Park, Arnhem
An absolute must to see, is the SONSBEEK PARK with its lovely water fountain and ducks and geese leisurely enjoying the creek (beek). Hans, Paul and I thoroughly enjoyed the park's beauty and peacefulness.
'' Sonsbeek Park '' is a beautiful Park located in Arnhem very close to the inner City ,not far to walk to and it is a beauty , the day we were there it was very quiet and some children were playing ,dogs were teasing the white beautiful Swan's that swam in the creek that runs right through the park.
In this park you will find a waterfall , a fountain in the creek , beautiful Bridge over the creek , a farmhouse just a nice Park ,and the trees were starting to loose their leaves and the colours were fantastic.
Arnhem is famous for it's parks, but by far the most beutiful park is the Sonsbeek park. This green zone penetrating the heart of the town so far as the flanks of the citycentre, has a magnificent variety in landscape. Forest and fields are combined with some of the most picturesque monumental places within Arnhem. Highlight as well is the waterfall, that you can cross over, as well as under. A small corridor runs down the stones and from a watery room beneath, you watch the world outside through the falling water. A very romantic place that is as well often used for marriage-pictures.
It’s a very beautiful park in the center of the town of Arnhem.
Here you can see the Water Museum, Watermolen, Grotу Waterval and Castle Zypendaal.
