This water mill dates approximately from the 14th century, and has been used for centuries to mill grain into flour and to press oil out of linseed.
Nowadays, the mill is still in use - the miller will gladly show you how the mill used to work, and bags of flour are on sale.
It is one of Eibergen's best known monuments - and we are proud of it!

Golf is still often regarded as a sport for the 'upper class'. To change that view, a bunch of farmers in Eibergen have developed their own version of this popular game: Boer'ngolf or 'farmers' golf'. The 'club' is a wooden stick, the golf ball is the size of a small football, and the golf 'court' is situated (surprise, surprise) in a meadow!
