Epe is a spacious village with a central function in the region as well as touristic in summer. Not that the village is that attractive but the Veluwe Park and landscape are great for family holidays (camping), cycling and walking.
Just walk about the village and find some nice villa's.
The shopping center is quite extensive but I didn't really see any special or noteworthy shops.

At 'De Honingpot' you can eat different kind of pancakes. Also you can have a few dishes fries. There are also meals for kids. In the restaurant you will find a little area for the kids to play. It is better to make a reservation.
Favorite Dish: I had a pancake 'apple and raisins'. This was yummie!!

Coffeehouse/pub/restaurant.
Only had tea here but it's very cosy.
Exceptionally good and spacious toilets!
Old fashioned Dutch interior (dark wood, lots of objects along the wall, old pictures).

Epe is a small village near my home town Apeldoorn. On one of my bike trips I discovered a beautiful little zoo near Epe. I was so impressed I imediately purchased a membershipscard.
