We sat outside on the heated terrace overlooking the 'Markt' square. Very enjoyable, quick service and nice food!
Sorry, I have no photo!
Favorite Dish: I had a 'kroket' on french bread with a bit of salad. My friend had a toastie of Turkish bread with brie, salami and more deli stuff. Was scrumptuous.
A coffee and a cappucino totalled the bill to just under 15 euro.
all kinds of restaurant on the Boulevard and in the center of Harderwijk
Harderwijk has a cosy innertown with a few squares that are filled with terraces. Besides that there are several places throughout the town where one will find a great variety in restaurants. But, being in the famous fishermen's town of Gelderland, one should try to find a restaurant that has fishspecialities. "Paling" (eel) is THE hot item here and especially smoked it is melting on your tongue. Taking home is as well possible and one finds along the boulevard various places where one can buy a "pond" (500 grams) or a kilo. Freshly caught in the IJssel-or Veluwe-lake.
From behind a glass wall you can watch the dolphins, sea lions, seals and fishes swimming around.
Favorite Dish: I haven't eaten there, so can't tell you that.
