Meet the beats and dance
If you want to go out in the evening and you like big places with a lot of people and al kinds of music Nijmegen is the right place to be. With the highest concentration of outdoor cafes in the Netherlands you will always find a place you like.
Because Nijmegen is a student city you can have a lot of fun every day of the week, only on Mondays the cafes are almost empty our closed.

This is one of the hangout for university students in this town, You can also have your meals here too.
We just had a couple of drinks and they have a menu of Bier like Blond, Brunette menu ( a selections of 4-5 beer)

For a pleasant and expensive evening out, Nijmegen and the Holland casino is the ideal place to lose and if you are very lucky maybe win money. But as some say: Its more important to have some fun! When you love 80's and 90's hits and would like to dance, Boogie Wonderland is the place to be. I went there with 6 friends and we had lots of fun!

Normally a place to have dinner (only so so, in my opinion-and, can someone please tell eating places that meant to be funny names for dishes are definitely not an option anymore), monday nights Odessa has life music, jazz-like jam sessions. They usually attract the foreign student population of the town, mainly spanish and french; locals do not really seem to care too much for this kind of music. So if you are spanish, you are in Nijmegen and you feel like meeting some fellow countrymen, this is the place to go. At least, that is the way I usually manage to find it. It is around the corner of another restaurant, De Schat.
