De Grote Markt Plein"......"The Big Market Place" in Nijmegen... it is a well preserved place with buildings from the 18 th Century and looking very nice at summer weekends with all those cafes having terraces outside.
If you catch the market day, you may have the chance to see wonderful dutch cheeses and other sort of local products.
We took a walk around the Market Square early in the morning to see catch a bit of breakfast and get some fruit for lunch.
An excellent spot to get some fresh air.
The picture is a bit dark, but in the building in the middle there is an archway that leads to the big church of Nijmegen. And that is where we are going.....
A closer look at the front of the building. There are so many details and ornaments on this building. I think it is quite beautiful.
This must be a great place to sit and have a drink on a beautiful summer day.
