Tickets are cheaper if you buy a big card with 15 stripes at the small bus office in the train station, than if you buy them in the bus.
Be aware that there are always two busses that have the same number. So if you travel by bus pay attention to the direction. Information about busses and time tables can also be found in the station and on the boards on the square. Leave a Comment Theme: Bus

 Train station 5 minutes walk

At the station, under the station square you will find bicycle stabling were you can also rent a bicycle. If you brought your own bicycle I advise you to place it here instead of the parking on the station square.
If you do not want to take your bags during your city trip to Nijmegen it is possible to put them in one of the lockers that are placed on platform 1A in the train station.
Please notice that since January 2004 smoking is forbidden in all train stations and trains. Smoking is only allowed in the marked areas.

Take train or bus. Or come by bike. If you use your car, specially in summertime, you might end up in a big traffic jam. Besides, parking is only possible with use of a special 'chipper'-card (for Dutch people only) or creditcard. Not very friendly, sorry.
If you use a (hired?) bike, you can put it into a watched parking place FOR FREE! Ask just anybody for the place. People will know and tell you. Theme: Train
